SLSA is a mild and safe anionic sulfate-free surfactant with excellent detergency, foaming solubilization,emulsifying properties, made from natural fatty alcohol, without the drawbacks of other more irritating foaming agents like SLES, SLS. It has good calcium soap dispersibility and hard water resistance. The large molecular weight of SLSA does not cause skin irritation, making it an ideal surfactant for mild detergents and cleaning products. In addition to application in personal care, SLSA also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, therefore, it is also used as a pharmaceutical excipient in dental care products and laxatives.
