The large molecular weight of SLSA does not cause skin irritation, making it an ideal surfactant for mild detergents and cleaning products. In addition to application in personal care, SLSA also has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, therefore, it is also used as a pharmaceutical excipient in dental care products and laxatives.
